Three people, including a 60-year-old man, were injured in a hit-and-run accident in the Narela area of outer north Delhi on Sunday evening, police said.
The incident took place between 8.30 and 8.45 PM when a speeding car rammed into a motorcycle, which then collided with a moving e-rickshaw due to the impact.
The motorcyclist, identified as Jagdamba Prasad Singh (60), and two e-rickshaw passengers — Shoyeb (21) and Ameer (19) — were injured in the crash. Police said the car driver fled the spot, abandoning the vehicle.
“A PCR call was received and police teams were rushed to the spot. All three injured were shifted to a nearby hospital,” a police officer said.
While Ameer and Shoyeb were discharged after treatment, Singh remains hospitalised. His condition is said to be stable.
