The Mango Fest 2.0, hosted by Brookfield Properties at WorkMark, Worldmark Aerocity, lit up Delhi on June 21 and 22 with a vibrant celebration of India’s favourite summer fruit. The two-day event turned the venue into a tropical paradise, drawing families, food lovers, and city dwellers to explore the world of mangoes through taste, art, and culture.

A major attraction was the “mango gallery”, where more than 100 types of mangoes from across India were displayed. From bright yellows to deep reds and greens, visitors got a close look at rare and regional varieties that are not easily found in regular markets.

The festival was also a treat for foodies. A wide range of mango-inspired dishes were on offer, including mango golgappa – a sweet and tangy take on the classic street snack – and mango-flavoured pastries served by JW Marriott. A farmer from Odisha presented uncommon types like Kasturi and Golden, adding to the experience of discovering new flavours. Mango candies with a tangy twist and crispy mango chips added more fun to the mix.

A popular feature was the ‘Daawat-e-Hunar’ cook-off in the Amazon Area, where participants competed in making creative mango dishes. Judged on taste, appearance, and originality, the challenge brought energy and excitement to the crowd.

Beyond food, the event celebrated culture and creativity. The ‘Diwan-e-Aam’ zone featured live music, poetry, games, storytelling and open mic sessions. The festival opened with a lively drum circle and continued into the night with musical acts like Yakeen Live, TANISH, Arpit Agnihotri Collective, and Prayaag On Stage, keeping the festive spirit alive till 10 PM.

The festival also gave a platform to small businesses and entrepreneurs, who showcased mango-themed products including fresh fruits and artisanal goods. Their stories highlighted the hard work behind mango cultivation and helped create a space for learning and connections.

Decorated with tropical themes, photo spots, and summery designs, Mango Fest 2.0 offered more than just a food experience. It brought people together through taste, talent, and tradition, turning Aerocity into a lively hub of community spirit.
