
In a shocking incident in Alipur area, a man allegedly struck his younger brother with his car, propelling him onto the car’s bonnet where he clung for three kilometers.
The incident occurred in outer-north Delhi and was captured in a video that surfaced on social media on Monday.
According to police, the victim, identified as Rajesh Kumar from Sonipat, had gone to Burari to meet someone on Friday.
“Near Pushta Road, a traffic jam forced him out of his car. At this moment, his elder brother, Mahesh, arrived in an SUV and collided with him. Rajesh climbed onto the bonnet and was dragged for approximately three kilometers before other commuters intervened and the car finally came to a halt,” said the police.
Rajesh sustained minor injuries, and the police revealed the incident happened due to a property dispute between the brothers.
Mahesh has been booked under sections 279 (rash driving), 337 (causing hurt by an act endangering the life or personal safety of others), and 506 (criminal intimidation) based on Rajesh’s complaint, registered at Alipur Police Station. (With inputs from PTI)
