A 22-year-old man was injured in a shooting incident in the Sangam Vihar area of South Delhi, according to police on Monday. Two suspects have been detained in connection with the incident. Nasir Khan, a resident of Sangam Vihar, was shot in the neck by Sohail (22) and Rahul (24) around 8:30 pm on Sunday. He was rushed to a hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Asif Khan, Nasir’s brother-in-law, stated he was visiting the victim when the shooting occurred. The victim’s father alleged that the suspects had a long-standing dispute with their family, as confirmed by a senior police officer.

Both suspects were detained at the hospital while receiving treatment for injuries sustained after being attacked by bystanders. Sohail, an electrician from Tughlakabad Extension, has a criminal background, while Rahul, a resident of Sangam Vihar, also has a history of criminal activity, according to the officer.
Initial investigations indicate that the shooting resulted from a personal dispute that had been ongoing for some time. The police are exploring all possibilities, including the potential involvement of other individuals or groups. Both the victim and the suspects had a history of conflicts, which seems to have escalated into this violent confrontation, the officer added.
