
In the Bakra Mandi area of east Delhi on Tuesday, tragedy struck as a 30-year-old man lost his life to a stabbing incident, according to the police.
The suspect, identified as Shishpal (23), was swiftly apprehended at the scene with the weapon believed to have been used in the attack, authorities confirmed.
“A distress call on Tuesday morning alerted us to the stabbing at Bakra Mandi in the Ghazipur area. Despite efforts to save him, the victim, Dharmendra, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital,” stated a senior police official.
Law enforcement has initiated legal proceedings, filing an FIR under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, with investigations ongoing. (With inputs from PTI)
