A 14-year-old boy was brutally murdered by a group of eight, including four juveniles, in outer north Delhi’s Haiderpur area, in what police say was a revenge-fueled killing. The boy was abducted, stripped, gagged and stabbed multiple times before his naked body was dumped in a canal.
The victim, a resident of Jeevan Park in Siraspur, was reported missing after he was forcibly taken by the accused in front of his friends near Veer Chowk bazaar on the night of June 29–30. His body was recovered near the Munak Canal on July 1, with stab wounds and a scarf tied around his neck, police said.
“A PCR call at 3:10 PM alerted us to a body found near a Delhi Jal Board water treatment plant. The partially decomposed remains were later identified, and a murder case was registered,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Hareshwar V Swami.
Initial investigation and technical surveillance led to the arrest of Krishna alias Bhola (19) and a juvenile from the same locality. Krishna allegedly believed the victim was acting as an informer for two local criminals, Monu and Sonu, who had assaulted him last year.
“Driven by revenge, Krishna and his associates plotted the boy’s murder for weeks. On the night of the crime, they abducted him, stripped him, and each member of the group took turns stabbing him before discarding his body in the canal,” Swami said.

Following further leads, police arrested Ashmit alias Ashwani (18) and three more juveniles. A motorcycle used in the crime has been seized.
Two suspects, Monu and Mohit, remain absconding and are believed to have fled to Haridwar. Police teams have been dispatched to Uttarakhand to trace them. Investigations are ongoing.
