
Four juveniles have been apprehended by Delhi Police in connection with a murder-cum-robbery and a separate robbery incident in outer north Delhi’s Bawana area, officials said on Thursday.
According to police, a PCR call was received on June 26 reporting an unconscious and injured man lying in DSIIDC Park, located in C-Block of Bawana Industrial Area.
The victim, believed to be between 30 and 35 years old, was rushed to Maharishi Valmiki Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. A murder case was registered and investigation was launched.
The deceased was later identified as Avdhesh Yadav, a native of Deoria district in Uttar Pradesh, through his brother.

Despite scanning over 1,000 CCTV cameras in the vicinity, police said no immediate leads emerged. However, field inquiries revealed suspicious activity in the area during the time of the incident.
“Based on the inputs, four juveniles were traced and taken into custody. During questioning, one of them confessed to the crime, stating that they stabbed the victim while robbing him,” a senior police officer said.
Police recovered the victim’s mobile phone, purse, and documents from the accused. Further investigation is underway.
