13,000 posts in Delhi Police to be filled by July 2024

The Delhi Police plans to fill 13,013 vacant positions for head constables and constables by July 2024, as per an announcement from Raj Niwas on Tuesday.

Among these, 3,521 positions are in advanced recruitment stages and are expected to be filled by December this year.

Written exams, physical endurance tests, and typing tests have been conducted, and these positions will be filled between December 2023 and July 2024.

The recruitment drive includes 1,692 head constables, 1,411 constables (drivers), 418 technical posts, and 840 multi-tasking staff positions.

The statement also revealed that 11,214 positions are in various stages of recruitment by the SSC, with 1,799 vacancies set to be advertised soon. (With inputs from PTI)
