Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Wednesday that Delhi government will procure 1,950 buses and issue fresh tenders for another 4,800 buses. There will be 11,000 on the capital’s roads by December 2024.
Kejriwal stated the the public transport will be more comfortable and world-class. The focus will also be on making the transport sector integrating and modernising.
The chief minister said his government will hire experts to roll out its urban farming initiative that was announced in the budget.

Kejriwal said that the government will be working with the Indian Agriculture Research Institute for the project. The plan is to conduct 1,000 workshops at the ward level that will benefit 25,000 people.
