
A man and his wife were found dead in their rented residence in Shahdara’s MS Park area, as per police reports on Saturday.
Police suspect the man hung himself from the ceiling fan after allegedly strangling his wife. Their bodies were found by a neighbour on Friday night, and no suicide note has been located, according to a police officer.
The couple, who tied the knot a year ago, resided in a rented accommodation close to their parents in the same neighborhood, the officer added.
The man was employed in his father’s grocery store, the officer mentioned.
Police have recorded statements from family members and are conducting further investigation. (With inputs from PTI)
