Delhi records minimum temperature of 20.2 degrees Celsius

The national capital on Saturday experienced a minimum temperature of 20.2 degrees Celsius, which is typical for this time of year, according to the Met office.

Humidity at 8.30 am stood at 46 per cent.

The India Meteorological Department predicts strong surface winds throughout the day, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 36 degrees Celsius.

Delhi’s Air Quality Index registered in the “moderate” category with a reading of 167 at 9 am, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board.

An AQI ranging from zero to 50 is classified as “good,” 51 to 100 as “satisfactory,” 101 to 200 as “moderate,” 201 to 300 as “poor,” 301 to 400 as “very poor,” and 401 to 500 as “severe”. (With inputs from PTI)
