Delhi: Fire breaks out at Okhla cloth factory, no casualties

Delhi: A fire broke out at a garments factory in Okhla Phase-II here on Tuesday morning, prompting authorities to rush four fire tenders to the spot, a fire official said.

No casualties or injuries were reported.

The Delhi Fire Services official said that a call was received at 7.20 am regarding the blaze.

“We rushed four fire tenders to the spot. The fire was doused by 10.05 am,” the official added.

DFS said rolls of cloth stored in the basement, ground, first and second floors of the garment factory caught fire. Approximately 600 square yards of space was affected in the blaze.
