
Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 24.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting strong surface winds through the day. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 34 degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity was measured at 71 per cent at 8.30 am. Air quality remained in the ‘satisfactory’ category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am standing at 89, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). An AQI between 51 and 100 falls under the ‘satisfactory’ range, while readings below 50 are considered ‘good’.
On Wednesday, the city had witnessed similar conditions, with strong winds and a maximum temperature of 34.4 degrees Celsius — 0.3 degrees below normal — and a minimum of 25.9 degrees Celsius, 0.3 degrees above normal.

Relative humidity was 81 per cent in the morning and 60 per cent in the evening. The AQI at 4 pm was recorded at 80, also in the ‘satisfactory’ category.
