The national capital on Thursday experienced a minimum temperature of 15.1 degrees Celsius, slightly below the usual for this season.
The air quality was classified as poor, with an air quality index (AQI) of 252 in the morning. Relative humidity stood at 69 percent, according to the weather department, which also forecasted mainly clear skies for the day.
An AQI between 0-50 is considered “good”, 51-100 “satisfactory”, 101-200 “moderate”, 201-300 “poor”, 301-400 “very poor” and 401-500 “severe”. An AQI above 500 falls in the “severe plus” category.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the overall air quality in Delhi was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 190, as per SAFAR-India.
