Delhi on Friday saw a minimum temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
At 8.30 am, humidity stood at 74 per cent. The IMD predicted a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain during the day, with a maximum temperature likely to reach around 36 degrees Celsius.
An IMD official mentioned that in April, the national capital may experience rising temperatures.
The weather office forecasted cloudy skies with light rain and drizzling for the next three days, with maximum and minimum temperatures expected to settle at 37 and 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
Throughout the day, relative humidity ranged between 82 per cent and 33 per cent. (With inputs from PTI)
