Delhi woke up to a sunny morning on Friday, with a minimum temperature of 24.2 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The relative humidity was recorded at 65 per cent.
Station-wise data showed that the minimum temperature was 21.4 degrees Celsius at Palam and 23.7 degrees Celsius at Lodhi Road.
The Ridge recorded a minimum temperature of 20.5 degrees Celsius and Ayanagar 23.4 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle around 34 degrees Celsius.
Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 84 at 9.30 am, placing it in the ‘satisfactory’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’ and 401-500 ‘severe’.
