The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) will open registrations for lifetime membership at the Dwarka Sector 24 Golf Course from July 21, offering 850 memberships across government and non-government categories. This is the first time the authority is offering such membership.
The registration for online application for membership will open on July 21 for two months, providing golf enthusiasts an opportunity to become members of this state-of-the-art sporting facility, it said in a statement.
“The Golf Course till now had only been offering tenure memberships for a limited period. Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu had instructed DDA to offer lifetime membership for the Dwarka Golf Course to inculcate a sense of belongingness to the complex amongst its members,” the statement added.
“The DDA will offer 850 lifetime memberships, comprising 250 memberships under the government category and 600 memberships under the non-government category. The lifetime membership fee is Rs 3.50 lakh for the government category and Rs 7.50 lakh for the non-government category,” the officials said.
In addition, golfers can also have the option for three- and five-year tenure membership, which is available at present. Tenure membership of three years is available at Rs 1.20 lakh in the government category and Rs 2.50 lakh for the non-government category, the DDA said in a statement.
The charges for a five-year membership are Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh for government and non-government categories, respectively.
The Dwarka Golf Course was inaugurated in the year 2024; it is the country’s longest golf course, they added.
Interested applicants can apply online by paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500. Following scrutiny of applications, successful applicants will be required to deposit the applicable membership fee online within 30 days of the issuance of the offer of membership.
