Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to the digital stage on Friday by launching his personal WhatsApp channel. In a bid to inspire collective action, Kejriwal invoked the Bollywood hit ‘Jawan,’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan, to urge citizens to unite and propel India to the forefront of nations.

The Delhi Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) WhatsApp channel was unveiled earlier this week, and it has already amassed an impressive following of over 51,000 individuals.

Using a post on the popular social media platform X, Kejriwal shared the link to his private WhatsApp channel, expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming interaction: Excited to connect with you all through my WhatsApp channel. Let’s work together to make India shine as the number one country in the world”.

This innovative WhatsApp channel serves as a direct line of communication for people to engage with Kejriwal, as confirmed by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in an official statement.

Drawing inspiration from the movie ‘Jawan,’ Kejriwal implored the public to come together and work towards making India the world’s leading nation, emphasizing that this ambition is India’s rightful pursuit.

“Jawan is a very good film in which Shah Rukh Khan says that if someone comes asking for your vote, don’t vote based on caste or religion. Instead, ask them if they will provide good education for your children and ensure good healthcare if your family falls ill,” Kejriwal said.

Even 75 years after Independence, it is only the AAP which confidently says, ‘Give us your vote because we will provide quality education to your children’,” he asserted.

The Delhi Chief Minister underscored his government’s achievement in establishing outstanding schools throughout the city and commended his counterpart in Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, for spearheading an “education revolution” in AAP-governed Punjab.
