Residents of Delhi experienced cloudy skies on Saturday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season’s average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The IMD forecasted generally cloudy conditions with a chance of light rain throughout the day. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius.
At 8:30 am, the humidity level stood at 86 per cent.
The city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was in the ‘satisfactory’ category, with a reading of 64 at 9 am, as per the Central Pollution Control Board. AQI readings between 51 and 100 are deemed ‘satisfactory.’

The maximum and minimum temperatures are projected to be around 33 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The IMD predicts heavy rainfall over the next four to five days.
The southwest monsoon covered the entire country by July 2, six days earlier than the usual date of July 8.
On Saturday, the Safdarjung observatory, Delhi’s main weather station, recorded 0.6 mm of rain. Other observatories at Lodhi Road and Ridge recorded 0.6 mm and 2.7 mm of rainfall, respectively, between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. (With inputs from PTI)
