Palam registered a low of 25.5 degrees Celsius, while the Ridge station recorded a minimum of 24.1 degrees Celsius. Lodhi Road and Ayanagar recorded 27.6 and 27.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Delhi’s air quality was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category, with the average air quality index (AQI) being clocked at 112, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
According to the CPCB, an AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.
The weather office has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain in the city for the day, with the maximum temperature likely to touch 34 degrees Celsius.
