
Light rain and generally cloudy skies have been forecast for Saturday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The forecast for the day includes strong surface winds and generally cloudy skies with light rain. The minimum temperature of 27.3 degrees Celsius was recorded and maximum temperature is anticipated to reach around 35 degrees Celsius. At 8.30 am, humidity was measured at 69 percent by the MeT office.
Meanwhile, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the national capital, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board, registered in the ‘moderate’ category with a reading of 129 at 10 am.
The AQI scale categorizes pollution levels: a reading between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 ‘severe’. (With inputs from PTI)
