
A 41-year-old man died allegedly by suicide after shooting himself with a pistol in outernorth Delhi’s Palla village, police said on Wednesday.
The incident took place around 7.30-8 pm on Tuesday, they said.
Police from Alipur police station and a crime team reached the spot and inspected the scene. Evidence was collected as part of the investigation, the police said.
The body was sent for legal proceedings. The deceased was identified as Manoj.

Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the alleged suicide and are also trying to ascertain the source of the pistol used in the incident.
Further investigation is underway, the police said.
