
A 50-year-old man, identified as Brij Kishor Trivedi, lost his life when struck by a JCB near Panchsheel Park Metro Station while crossing a road on Thursday morning, according to police.
The JCB driver, Sandeep (40), was promptly arrested at the scene, and the JCB was seized.
A PCR call at 7 am reported the accident, and the police team quickly responded, discovering Trivedi, a security guard, had succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision.
Tragically, after the JCB impact, Trivedi fell on the road with severe injuries, leading to his immediate demise. The deceased’s body has been transferred to AIIMS for autopsy, and the investigation is ongoing, stated a senior police officer. ( With inputs from PTI)
