Medanta has expanded its presence in the National Capital Region (NCR) with the launch of a 550-bed super specialty hospital in Noida.

The hospital began operations with 300 beds, including more than 100 intensive care unit (ICU) beds and five operating theatres. It is equipped with the Da Vinci Xi surgical robot, O-Arm imaging system, Artis Icono AI-driven Biplane Cath Lab, 3 Tesla MRI, 256-slice dual source CT, PET scan, and Gamma Camera

More than 60 senior doctors, including 30 directors, have already joined the new unit. It will provide tertiary and quaternary care in over 20 specialties such as cardiology, oncology, neurosciences, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, and transplants.

Location and access

The facility is located in Sector 50, Noida, with direct Metro connectivity. This is expected to improve access for patients not only from Delhi-NCR but also from underserved regions of Western Uttar Pradesh.

Leadership views

Dr Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta, said the hospital marked another milestone for the group. He noted that with its infrastructure, technology, and team of clinicians, the Noida facility had been designed to deliver comprehensive care. The location, he added, reinforced Medanta’s commitment to expanding access across Delhi-NCR and Western Uttar Pradesh.

Group CEO Pankaj Sahni said the launch represented an important step in Medanta’s growth. “This expansion strengthens our presence in the NCR while extending access to a large and underserved population in Noida and Western Uttar Pradesh,” he said. He added that rising demand for advanced medical care placed the hospital in a position to address this need through scale, clinical expertise, and innovation.

Expanding ncr footprint

The Noida hospital adds to Medanta’s existing operations in Gurugram, consolidating its presence in one of the country’s most competitive healthcare hubs.
