Metro trains to showcase Delhi govt schemes under publicity campaign

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday flagged off a Delhi Metro train wrapped with publicity material highlighting various flagship schemes and policies of the Delhi government.

Gupta flagged off the train at ITO Metro station. The exterior wrap carried publicity material on government’s EV Policy, Atal Canteens and Ease of Doing Business initiatives.

Under the campaign, five Metro trains comprising 36 coaches have been branded with messages highlighting various government schemes.

The trains will operate on the Red, Yellow, Blue, Green and Violet lines, covering nearly 67 per cent of the Metro network.

The chief minister said the initiative aims to ensure that information about welfare schemes reaches eligible citizens in a simple and effective manner, enabling more Delhi residents to avail themselves of the benefits of these initiatives.
