Nippo enters India’s air purification market with the pan-India launch of Airvue
Indo National Limited (INL), which owns the Nippo brand, has entered the indoor air quality monitoring and purification market with the pan-India launch of Nippo Airvue.
The company expects Airvue to generate Rs 100 crore in revenue by FY2030, which it said would account for around 10 per cent of its overall revenue. INL is also targeting a 15 per cent share of the air purification and indoor air intelligence segment over the next five years.
The move follows INL’s acquisition of MedCuore Medical Solutions Pvt Ltd in April 2025. MedCuore has developed and manufactures the Airvue range.
“Airvue enables us to bring differentiated solutions to a wider audience. We see significant headroom to scale this category and build a broader portfolio of home technology and consumer solutions,” said Aditya Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Indo National Limited.
The Airvue range currently comprises four models — L301S, M601S, U801S and U1001S — designed to cover spaces ranging from 300 to 1,500 square feet.
The products feature four-stage filtration, including True HEPA and activated carbon, along with a nano-organic layer claimed to eliminate 99.9 per cent of microbes. The range also includes 254 nm UV-C LED technology, a ceramic negative ion generator and app-based connectivity for alerts and over-the-air updates.
The company is also offering dedicated air quality monitors, including the AQM Pro with nine-parameter monitoring. Airvue uses four proprietary indices covering air quality, health, productivity and energy.
Paul Pradeep, founder of MedCuore Medical Solutions, said the platform combines connected monitoring, smart purification and filtration to help users assess and manage indoor air quality.
INL said it plans to expand the portfolio to include dehumidifiers, humidifiers, energy recovery ventilation systems, HVAC and AC filters, car air purifiers and herbal air-care products. It also plans to develop air-intelligence solutions for enterprises.
The company said it would gradually increase local manufacturing and processing of Airvue products, including assembly, testing, filter coating, quality assurance and packaging. PCB and surface-mount technology capabilities are planned as part of its longer-term localisation strategy.
Airvue will be sold through Nippo’s dealer and distributor network, its direct-to-consumer website and major e-commerce platforms. The company also plans to target institutional customers in healthcare, corporate offices, hospitality, education, real estate and government sectors.
Established in 1972 and headquartered in Chennai, Indo National Limited is primarily known for its Nippo battery brand. Its portfolio also includes flashlights, mosquito swatters, LED lighting products and electrical accessories.
