
It was a bright and sunny morning in the national capital on Tuesday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 5.6 degrees Celsius, 2.8 degrees below the season’s average.
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky is expected to remain clear throughout the day, and the maximum temperature is likely to reach around 24 degrees Celsius.
At 8:30 am, the humidity level was reported at 94 percent.
The air quality on Tuesday morning fell in the “poor” category, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) reading of 258 at 9 am, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
An AQI ranging from 0-50 is classified as “good,” 51-100 as “satisfactory,” 101-200 as “moderate,” 201-300 as “poor,” 301-400 as “very poor,” and 401-500 as “severe.”
On Monday, the city had recorded a minimum temperature of 7.2 degrees Celsius.
