Chief Minister Rekha Gupta reaffirmed her commitment to transforming Delhi into a leading state, declaring that she had pledged to the Almighty to fulfil the responsibility of building a “developed Delhi.”
Speaking at the 36th annual function of the Uttara Guruvayurappan Temple in Mayur Vihar Phase 1, Gupta said, “I want Delhi to become the number one state in the country in all aspects.”
Addressing a gathering of devotees and community members, she assured them that the Delhi government was dedicated to serving the people. “We will walk together, shoulder to shoulder, step by step,” she said.
Gupta extended warm greetings to the devotees and expressed her gratitude for being invited to the cultural and spiritual celebration. She praised the temple’s atmosphere, saying it reminded her of South Indian temples she had visited, and commended the Malayali community in Delhi for recreating such a sacred and culturally rich environment.
“I want to thank the community here for trusting me and electing me as the Chief Minister,” she added.
