Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy S25 Edge, a sleek new entry in its Galaxy S series that pairs a premium, ultra-slim design with advanced Galaxy AI features.

Unveiled on Tuesday, the Galaxy S25 Edge measures just 5.8mm thick and weighs 163g, making it the thinnest flagship smartphone the company has ever produced. Encased in a curved titanium frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the device promises durability as well as elegance. However, unlike the top-tier Galaxy S25 Ultra, it lacks the anti-reflective coating.

Despite its streamlined profile, the S25 Edge is equipped with high-end hardware and software, bolstered by Galaxy AI. “We designed the Galaxy S25 Edge to push boundaries in both design and experience,” said TM Roh, President and Acting Head of Samsung’s Device experience Division. “It represents a leap forward in engineering that brings premium features to a slim, highly portable form factor.”

While the S25 Edge is the thinnest in the S25 family, it is not the lightest — tipping the scales at 163g, it’s one gram heavier than the more compact Galaxy S25. That difference comes with a larger 6.7-inch QHD+ display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, compared to the 6.3-inch screen on the base model.

Photography remains a standout feature. The S25 Edge boasts a 200MP wide-angle camera, the same sensor found on the S25 Ultra, along with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 12MP front-facing camera. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, delivering flagship-level performance across the board. The phone runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 and includes AI tools like Audio Eraser.

A 3,900mAh battery powers the device, supporting 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Samsung has committed to seven years of major Android and security updates for the entire S25 lineup, including the Edge.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will be available in three finishes — Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue. The base configuration, featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at $1,099 in the United States.
