A 79-year-old woman was discovered deceased in her residence in the Jia Sarai area of southwest Delhi, with an injury to her neck, according to the police.

On Sunday, at approximately 11 pm, Kishangarh police station received a PCR call regarding the incident, senior police official said.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the body of Krishna Devi, a woman, in a pool of blood, with a deep neck wound.
