An art exhibition titled Panorama 22 is going to be held at All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society (AIFACS) from August 4 to 10. It will explore works of different artists and the freshness in their perspectives.
The exhibition will feature artists like Biman Bihari Das, Sumatilal Badge, Amit Kumar, Meghna Agarwal, Anindita Kishore, Gaurav Dahiya, Mridul Chakraborty, Naseem Khan, Nilay Sarkar, Seema Parveen, Tapos Das, Reba Mandal, Purnendu Mandal, Pankaj Bharti, and Rohini Jain.
The sculptures of Biman Bihari Das, a Padma Shri awardee, explore the roots of his objects and develop a deeper spiritual connection. Amit Kumar highlights the need for survival of tigers – that have been pushed to extinction – through his artworks.
The presence of birds dictate the paintings of Rohini Jain whereas Anindita Kishore paints from nature, especially mountains such as the Himalayas. For urban touch, Mridul Chakroborty will present his collection of city paintings that explore the joy of living in a city.
Seema Parveen’s artworks are based on traditional pottery done with watercolors while the inspiration of Tapos Das’ artworks comes from goddess Durga.
The exhibition will largely explore the different approaches towards nature, individuality, urban life, and mythology.
