Triveni Gallery at Triveni Kala Sangam unveiled Beyond The Lakshman Rekha, a debut solo art exhibition by emerging artist Apoorva Garg. Running until November 30, the showcase explores the persistent gender inequalities in 21st-century India through compelling mixed-media artworks.
The exhibition began with a reception on November 20. Its theme focuses on issues such as unequal access to education, workplace discrimination, and societal expectations. Each artwork combines self-portraiture with everyday symbols, portraying the challenges women face while also celebrating their resilience.

Speaking at the opening, Apoorva Garg said, “Through this exhibition, I wanted to create a dialogue on the societal boundaries that restrict women. Each artwork represents not just the struggles but also the strength and determination of women to overcome them.”
