Artist Poornima Dayal will showcase her latest art exhibition, Kalp (Phases), at Lalit Kala Akademi, Ravindra Bhawan, from January 15 to January 21. The exhibition will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with an inauguration on January 15, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The exhibition features five phases of the artist’s journey, each expressed through abstract and conceptual artworks. These phases explore themes such as transformation, introspection, and emotional growth. The Out of the Box series begins with a tribute to The Ramayana and moves through themes of strength and hidden truths. The Exploration series uses textures to represent personal growth and learning. The Resonance series reflects calm emotions through soothing colours, while the Impressionist series captures life’s changes with abstract strokes. The Cityscapes series reimagines urban landscapes with personal interpretations.
Speaking about the exhibition, Poornima Dayal said, “KALP is my story told through colours, textures, and abstract forms. Each phase represents a part of my life, and I hope viewers can connect with their own journeys through my work.”
Curator Kishore Labar added, “Poornima Dayal’s KALP captures the essence of human transformation. Each series reflects her journey and invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences. It’s an engaging dialogue between the artist and the audience.”
