Art Hub is set to host Chinar: Through Time, Through Seasons, Through the Lens, a photography exhibition by Megha Sindwani that captures the essence of Kashmir through the changing seasons. The exhibition will open with a preview on Saturday, March 29, from 4 PM to 6 PM, at Alliance Française de Delhi, Lodhi Estate, and will continue at The Art Hub Gallery from April 1 to April 15, between 11 AM and 5 PM.
The exhibition focuses on the Chinar tree, a symbol of Kashmir’s resilience and timeless beauty. Through Megha’s lens, the Chinar becomes more than just a tree — it embodies the spirit of Kashmir, standing witness to the passage of time and the changing seasons. Her photographs highlight the delicate balance between permanence and change, capturing moments that reflect both the stillness and movement of life in Kashmir. From serene waters and cloud-covered peaks to weathered hands that speak of endurance, her work brings out the quiet strength that defines the region.
A portion of the proceeds from the exhibition will support the Foster and Forge Foundation, which works to provide underserved children with opportunities to experience art beyond traditional settings. Megha’s collaboration with the foundation reinforces her belief that photography can go beyond artistic expression and contribute to meaningful change.

Born and raised in Delhi, Megha Sindwani approaches photography with an instinctive eye, capturing fleeting moments that often go unnoticed. Her work moves beyond technical perfection, focusing instead on presence and perception. Whether it is a weathered face on Dal Lake, a Chinar leaf caught mid-fall, or the quiet defiance of a mountain against the sky, her images invite viewers to see beyond the obvious and discover hidden stories.
