Embracing Souls: a solo exhibition by Mousumi Bhattacharyya

NCR-based artist Mousumi Bhattacharyya’s solo art exhibition ‘Embracing Souls’ is currently on display at Shailja Art Gallery, 5th Floor, Suncity Business Tower, Golf Course Road, Sector 54, Gurgaon. The show, which opened on October 11, will run until October 15.

Bhattacharyya, known for her evocative figurative and expressive artworks, captures the depth of human emotions through acrylics, oils, watercolours, pastels, and charcoal. Trained under renowned artist Bibhas Roy and holding an MA in Painting from Venkateshwara Open University, her works explore themes of womanhood, inner strength, and emotional resonance.

Speaking about the exhibition, Bhattacharyya said, “Through my paintings, I try to give form to the emotions we often keep hidden. Every stroke is a reflection of human resilience, vulnerability, and the beauty of everyday life.”

Having showcased her art at prestigious platforms like the India Art Festival (Delhi and Mumbai) and the Speaking Art Festival, Bhattacharyya’s latest exhibition offers visitors a vibrant journey through colour, expression, and soulful narratives.
