The second edition of the Malayalam Film Festival brings to the Capital seven films, which include works by both debutant directors and frontline filmmakers. The films in the package are reflective of the evolving contours of contemporary Malayalam cinema. A rupture from the past in terms of themes and treatment, these films dare to confront the dominant narratives. They attempt to bring to the centrestage many issues which were often marginalised.
