Debut tour
What: K-pop fans in the city, block your dates and gear up for KARD’s debut fan meet and concert in India. Breaking charts all over the world with their albums, the four-member co-ed idol group is one of the biggest K-pop acts to perform until date in India. Organised by Pink Box Events and supported by Korean Cultural Centre India, the group is all set to get you grooving to their hit songs with the Play Your KARD Right tour. So, join in to be part of this Hallyu (Korean wave) much closer to home.

Mexican touch
What: Considered one of the most outstanding engravers in Mexico, Joel Rendón has devoted his life to generate a movement to revalue engraving in Mexico and abroad by opening spaces to promote print making among younger generations through audio visual media, graphic designs, murals and television programs. The Embassy of Mexico in India presents his work in an exhibition titled Joel Rendon – Mexican Master Engraver, which combines the longstanding Mexican tradition of relief print, contemporary techniques and motives linked to the cultural heritage of the country.

God’s own fest
What: Breaking free of the beaten track, new talent is rewriting the rules of the game in Malayalam cinema. The second edition of the Malayalam Film Festival brings to the Capital seven films, which include works by both debutant directors and frontline filmmakers. The films in the package are reflective of the evolving contours of contemporary Malayalam cinema. A rupture from the past in terms of themes and treatment, these films dare to confront the dominant narratives. They attempt to bring to the centrestage many issues which were often marginalised. The issues affecting women, LGBTQI and Dalits are contemplated with certain degree of confidence and fineness. Some of the directors will present their films and lead a discussion after the screening.

Abstract art
What: Artist Yashvant Singh feels he and his art are almost the same. His exhibition, A Traveler in Abstract Universe, features an abstract style. “I see and understand my disposition in colours. I am depicting the lust that arises in my heart. I write my feelings in my own language, which is a script of my mind, which is mysterious and deepening over time.”
