The artworks in this exhibition will capture a perfect balance of visual form of one’s inner and social thought process.
The show features artworks of Amit Kr Das, Sanjay Sawant, Simran KS Lamba, Sanjay Sharma and Sweety Joshi, along with a live performance by Pratibha Sarkar. It explores the Indian philosophy of “All that is outside of you, is within you” or “Your body is a miniature universe”.
Amit Das has invented a completely new medium in which he uses a needle to engrave the paper. Sweety Joshi creates unique artwork through needles and threads with her element – fire. Sanjay Sharma makes visual statements on political and social issues in a very microscopic way, through mediums like newspapers. Simran Lamba’s paintings absorb the world around her. Sanjay Sawant’s artwork is a combination of his personal, physical, sexual, emotional, social, commercial and religious experiences.
