Karwaan Baithak: An online series in the memory of 75 years of India-Pakistan partition

Karwaan, headed by Eshan Sharma, is one of India’s leading student’s collective working towards promoting conversations around India’s shared history and heritage. It has hosted more than 250 historians, scholars, authors and filmmakers around the globe.

Baithak – Sarhad ke Iss Paar – Uss Paar, spanning a long period of eight weeks – from 25 June to the 6 August, is being organised on Karwaan’s Youtube channel, and is hosting six different events, discussions and conversations to commemorate the 75 years of an overnight migration of thousands of people who felt like strangers in their own land.

With experts from both India and Pakistan, Karwaan Baithak will be organising the following sessions :
