
Tinder India and Gaysi Family are teaming up to present an event that celebrates the vibrant and diverse queer community. The highly anticipated Queer Made Weekend is set to take place from June 17 to June 18 at DLF Promenade in New Delhi, promising a fiery, bustling, creative, and inclusive experience for all attendees.
This event aims to showcase and support queer entrepreneurs and small business owners. At the dedicated space for all things queer-made, you’ll have the opportunity to mingle, peruse, and shop from a wide array of talented individuals. From fashion and art to merch and home decor, this event has something for everyone.
Providing insight into the event, the Director of Communications for Tinder in India shared, “In 2021, we launched a digital initiative with the aim of promoting and supporting LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, enabling them to showcase their businesses. Additionally, we aimed to create an inclusive environment for allies to participate and contribute.”
Apart from a plethora of businesses to shop from, the event is also providing a platform to musicians and singers to perform for the audience. The artist lineup for June 17 includes Priyum, Saachi, Kofi Kofi, Prakti, Sagar & The Daisies, Rani Ko-HE-Nur, also known as Sushant Divgikar, with TopStorey. On June 18, attendees can enjoy performances by Nidhi Wagle, Zyakuni In My Backyard, Finsta, Srilakshmi, Shama, John Oinam, and Madboy Mink.
In addition to the showcase of talent, the Queer Made Weekend will tantalize taste buds with a delectable range of food and drinks. Attendees can savor Bira’s new summer collection and indulge in signature cocktails meticulously crafted by renowned brands such as Roku, Oaksmith, Jim Beam, Sipsmith, and Smoke Labs.
