
The fourth edition of ‘Rang De Korea’, India’s largest Korean cultural festival, will be held at Nexus Select City Walk, Saket on October 11. Organised by the Korean Cultural Centre India, the festival aims to celebrate and strengthen cultural ties between Korea and India.
The event will be graced by Lee Seong-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, who is expected to speak on the growing cultural relations between the two nations. K. Nandini Singla, Director General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, along with other distinguished guests from both countries, will also be in attendance.
A highlight of the festival will be the immersive “Seoul Street” experience, featuring five iconic zones from Seoul: Myeongdong shopping street, Bukchon Hanok Village, Jongno Food Alley, Hangang Park, and Gangneung, the site of the famous BTS bus stop. Visitors can enjoy Korean pop culture, traditional performances, and lifestyle experiences across these zones.
Major Korean companies including Samsung Electronics, Amorepacific, Orion, and Lotte will participate. Amorepacific will host masterclasses on “K-Drama Natural Makeup” and “K-Pop Idol Makeup,” Samsung will showcase futuristic technology experiences, and Lotte and Orion will introduce popular Korean snacks such as Pepero and Choco Pie.
Cultural performances will feature the Kukkiwon Taekwondo demonstration team, S-Flava (a fusion group combining traditional music and b-boying), traditional Korean dance performances, and high-energy shows by the eight-member K-pop boy group Younite, who will also hold a special fan meeting.
Hwang Il Yong, Director of the Korean Cultural Centre India, said, “Hallyu has now become a mainstream cultural phenomenon among India’s young generation. Through this festival, we hope to further expand Korea–India cultural exchange and deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.”
