Shudh Dhwani: Indian classical nights

A melange of Indian classical dance and music is set to enchant Delhiites on the last weekend of August at the Triveni Kala Sangam.

Snehalata Memorial Foundation has brought together ‘Shudh Dhwani’, which is its fifth annual music and dance festival. The two-day event is scheduled on August 25 and 26, 6pm onwards

The Triveni Kala Sangam, which is located in Mandi House, is popular among the masses for hosting similar events.

Performers of the event are :

Pandit Lokesh Anand on Shehnai with Pandit Jitendra Swain on tabla.

Amjad Ali Khan at vocal with Debasis Adhikary at tabla and Lalit Sisodia at Harmonium.

Biswajit Roychowdhury at sarod with Ustad Akram Khan at tabla.

Hrishikesh majumdar with flute and Yashwant Vaishnaw at tabla

Odissi dance by Priyanka Das.

Ustad Asghar Hussain with Violin accompanied by Pandit Subrata De with sitar, Santak Sharma at tabla and Manohar Balatchandrine at mridangam.

When: 6pm onwards; August 25 -26
