
The 37th edition of Surajkund Mela 2024 is scheduled to take place from February 2 to February 18 in Surajkund, Faridabad (amazing places to visit in Faridabad) The festival will witness a grand inauguration by the President of India, Draupadi Murmu.
The Surajkund International Crafts Mela 2024 will start from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily. Ticket prices vary based on the day of the week, with a rate of Rs 120 applicable from Monday to Friday and Rs 180 for Saturday and Sunday.
Surajkund Crafts Mela 2024 will showcase the vibrant cultural tapestry of Gujarat, as it has been chosen as the theme state for this edition. The fair complex, including decorations and stalls, will be adorned with elements reflecting the rich heritage of Gujarati culture. Gujarat had previously served as the theme state in 1997.
In the previous edition of Surajkund Mela in 2023, the spotlight was on eight states as theme states, namely Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura.
Transportation options to Surajkund Mela 2024 are readily accessible, with buses conveniently departing from Delhi’s ISBTs and Shivaji Stadium, as well as neighbouring cities like Gurgaon and Faridabad, headed to Surajkund Bus Stand. Alternatively, tourists can opt for coaches or taxis directly from Delhi for added convenience, although on-site parking is limited.
