The Kathika Cultural Centre will host The Haveli Feast: Jama Masjid Culinary Walk, an immersive culinary experience through Old Delhi, on November 16. This unique event offers food lovers a journey through the heritage and flavours of the historic Jama Masjid area, combining cultural performances and culinary discoveries.
Participants will start the evening at Kathika, a 150-year-old haveli, with a live jugalbandi performance and a Kathak dance recital that bring the spirit of Old Delhi’s history to life. From here, the walk will lead guests into the bustling lanes surrounding Jama Masjid, where the rich aromas and tastes of Old Delhi’s culinary heritage await.
According to event organisers, The Haveli Feast aims to provide a deeper understanding of Old Delhi’s food culture by connecting participants with the stories behind each dish and eatery. “This walk is designed not just for tasting food, but for experiencing the vibrant life and history of Jama Masjid’s surroundings,” said a representative from Kathika Cultural Centre.

Event highlights include stops at some of the area’s iconic eateries, where guests can savour authentic kebabs, biryanis, and jalebis, alongside insights into the stories that make this neighbourhood unique.
In addition to the food walk, Kathika will host live cooking demonstrations and a storytelling session, deepening participants’ engagement with the area’s traditions and flavours.
