Time, Fielded, a solo exhibition by Suhani Jain, is currently on view at LATITUDE 28 until June 7. The exhibition features monochromatic works that explore repetition, time, and the gradual layering of marks across the surface.
Built through rows of counted strokes, grids, and shifting bands of lines, the works evolve incrementally, allowing traces of time and movement to remain visible. Working primarily in black and white, Jain uses line as both structure and sensation, creating surfaces that feel meditative yet constantly shifting.
Themes of memory, rhythm, and emotional experience run through the exhibition. Small variations accumulate over time, inviting slow and sustained viewing, while recurring patterns occasionally hint at architectural or landscape-like forms without settling into clear representation.
