The prestigious Lokayta Art Gallery in Delhi’s Hauz Khas Village has geared up to organise a celebration of the vast diversity in Indian arts, including its various forms and cultures. The event will provide a stage for artists from all across the country to display their artistic creations in an art exhibition set up by AJALA Foundation.

Ashish Rajput, director of AJALA Foundation and a social worker, says, “An artist puts forth the face of the society with colours and imagination.” Rajput has been working in the field of various social issues especially in the fields of arts for more than a decade. In this sense, he echoes the motto of AJALA Foundation that art is the soul of the nation which reflects its deep roots of its tradition and culture.

“The nation owes to the artists and we, as citizens, should respect them as they are able to showcase the diverse and amazing culture and tradition of India in front of the whole world”, believes another director of AJALA Foundation, Sunita Kaswan, who is also a lawyer by profession.

Through such initiatives, AJALA Foundation helps and promotes artists by curating art exhibitions for the artists who are willing to showcase their artworks and talents for the cause.

Besides AJALA, Kavita Rajput, director and a freelance artist, along with 25 professional artists dedicate their whole day and create their artworks for the social cause.

AJALA Foundation and the participating artists invite art lovers, art aficionados, art dealers, art collectors and sponsors to come forward and celebrate the diversity in Indian arts and appreciate the various art forms which promote Indian culture and heritage

Over the course of 10 days, the exhibition will feature more than 250 artworks, which include paintings, drawings, sculptures, and digital arts by professional artists. The Foundation is also organising a workshop on 10th September 2022 in Lokayta Art Gallery.
