Fans fight during India-Afghanistan World Cup match

A video has gone viral showing fans erupting into a fight during Wednesday’s ICC Cricket World Cup match between India and Afghanistan. The match took place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi and witnessed a large crowd. In the video, the fans are seen engaged in a heated argument and slapping each other. There are people who are attempting to calm the situation.

A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted the video stating “Fans getting authentic Delhi experience”.

India beat Afghanistan by 8 wickets in the match with 15 overs to spare. In the match against Afghanistan, the Indian team’s captain, Rohit Sharma, delivered an exceptional performance by achieving a century in just 63 balls.

He had a remarkable six-hitting spree, ultimately scoring a total of 131 runs in 84 balls. This was significant as he secured the record for most centuries in World Cup history. Ishan Kishan contributed 47 runs, Virat Kohli scored 55 runs (not out), and Shreyas Iyer scored 25 runs (not out). Iyer also managed to hit the first 100-metre six in the World Cup.
