India beat Afghanistan by 8 wickets in the match with 15 overs to spare. In the match against Afghanistan, the Indian team’s captain, Rohit Sharma, delivered an exceptional performance by achieving a century in just 63 balls.
He had a remarkable six-hitting spree, ultimately scoring a total of 131 runs in 84 balls. This was significant as he secured the record for most centuries in World Cup history.
