Online retail giant Amazon has announced the return of its flagship Great Summer Sale, set to commence on May 1, with discounts of up to 75 per cent on a wide array of electronics and gadgets. The company has already revealed early deals, enabling shoppers to plan ahead for one of the year’s biggest online sales.

According to Amazon, the sale will offer significant price reductions across multiple categories including laptops, smartwatches, tablets, headphones, monitors, and computer accessories. Major technology brands such as Apple, Samsung, Sony, Lenovo, HP, JBL, and boAt are among those participating in the promotional event.

Key deals across categories

Customers can expect up to 45 per cent off on laptops from popular manufacturers including ASUS, HP, Acer, and Lenovo. Gaming laptops will also see steep discounts, with some models available at up to 45 per cent off, targeting the burgeoning market of casual and professional gamers.

Smartwatches, a consistent favourite among wearable tech enthusiasts, will be available at discounts of up to 80 per cent, with brands like Noise, Fire-Boltt, and Samsung offering attractive deals on models featuring Bluetooth calling, health tracking, and advanced display technology.

Tablets from Apple, Samsung, and Lenovo will see markdowns of up to 60 per cent, catering to students, professionals, and content consumers alike. Similarly, monitors and desktops from LG, Dell, and Acer are expected to be available at up to 50 per cent off, making it an opportune time for those upgrading their home office or gaming setups.

The sale will also feature headphones at up to 70 per cent off, with features such as active noise cancellation, low-latency gaming modes, and extended battery life on offer from brands like Sony, JBL, and Realme.

In addition, computer accessories such as keyboards, webcams, and gaming controllers will be discounted by up to 75 per cent. Shoppers can also avail themselves of deals on home audio systems, including soundbars and tower speakers, at up to 60 per cent off.

Printers from HP, Canon, and Epson will be available at discounts of up to 60 per cent, with options suitable for both home and office use.

Cameras and accessories from Canon, Nikon, and GoPro will also feature prominently, with discounts of up to 60 per cent on select models and essential gear such as lenses, tripods, and memory cards.

With deals already live on select products, Amazon is encouraging customers to add items to their wishlists in advance to take advantage of limited stock and avoid last-minute sell-outs. Industry observers expect high traffic and brisk sales across most categories, given the scale of the discounts and the wide participation from global brands.

The Amazon Great Summer Sale 2025 marks one of the e-commerce platform’s most expansive seasonal campaigns, and is anticipated to draw millions of shoppers across India in the first week of May.
