Infinix has kicked off the year with the launch of its first smartphone, the Infinix Note 50x 5G. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor and runs on the brand’s latest XOS 15 UI, based on Android 15.

Infinix Note 50x 5G Price and Availability

The Infinix Note 50x 5G is priced at Rs 11,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 128GB model costs Rs 12,999. Additionally, customers can avail a Rs 1,000 discount on ICICI Bank credit and debit cards during the first sale, effectively reducing the price to Rs 10,499 and Rs 11,999, respectively.

The smartphone will be available in three colour options—Sea Breeze Green (with a vegan leather finish), Enchanted Purple, and Titanium Grey. It will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart from April 3.

Key Specifications of Infinix Note 50x 5G

The Infinix Note 50x 5G boasts a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 672 nits (560 nits typical brightness). For connectivity, it supports nine 5G bands and features an IR blaster for controlling smart appliances. However, NFC and wireless charging are not included.

For security, the device is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also carries an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, along with MIL-STD-810H certification for enhanced durability.

Performance and Battery

The Note 50x 5G is the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chipset. While the standard Dimensity 7300 processor has already been used in budget-friendly devices like the Lava Agni 3 and CMF Phone 1, it remains to be seen how the ‘Ultimate’ variant differentiates itself.

Camera and Software

In the camera department, the Infinix Note 50x 5G features a 50MP primary shooter alongside a depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Running on XOS 15, based on Android 15, the device offers a cleaner user interface with added AI features. Infinix has also promised two years of OS updates and three years of security patches for this model.
