Motorola launches Moto G86 Power with 32 MP selfie camera in India

Motorola has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto G86 Power 5G, in India. Priced at Rs 17,999, the device offers a strong feature set, including a 32MP front-facing camera, 4K video recording support on all lenses, and a massive 6,720mAh battery. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting August 6 on Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and across major offline retail outlets.

The Moto G86 Power features a 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED Super HD flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and includes Smart Water Touch 2.0, allowing usability even with wet hands. In terms of durability, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings and meets military-grade MIL-STD-810H standards.

In the camera department, the Moto G86 Power is equipped with a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and macro vision lens. The 32MP front camera also supports 4K video recording, matching the capabilities of the rear cameras. The phone is enhanced with AI-powered photography tools such as Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur, and Magic Editor, along with Motorola’s system-wide moto AI features.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can extend memory further with virtual RAM support up to 24GB. It runs on Hello UI based on Android 15, with Motorola offering one year of OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

The phone is backed by a large 6,720mAh battery and comes bundled with a 33W fast charger. Audio features include Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio certification, and Moto Spatial Sound for an immersive listening experience. The Moto G86 Power also supports Smart Connect 2.0, allowing wireless integration with TVs and PCs. Additional multitasking tools such as Cross Device Search, Swipe to Share, and Swipe to Stream are included to enhance cross-device productivity.

Motorola is offering the Moto G86 Power in three Pantone-curated colour variants: Golden Cypress, Cosmic Sky, and Spellbound, all with a vegan leather finish. The device will be available in India from August 6 through online and offline channels.
